It made me look at the character differently, at any rate. The next was a no doubt about it and every book got better till 5. For a thousand years, Alera and her furies have withstood every enemy, and survived every foe.

Don’t get me wrong, Codex Alera is a great read. The Alera books are about political scheming, lost heirs, and deadly enemies. Nov 25, Pages Buy. Princeps’ Fury was an improvement on the last installment for me in a lot of ways, but there was still a bit too much wah, wah, wah boring shit about battle strategy and other descriptive questing nonsense.

Unable to furycraft, he still won the respect and alliance of the Fkry leaders, and with it, knowledge of princpes darker threat, just in time.
