Another problem is that everyone imagines he knows the sort of person he is, and the sort of person he is dealing with. Jim Crace’s Being Dead is a kind of literary equivalent of this. Which brings me to the first of the four points I offer as demonstration. They are preserved in a sense of tragedy that makes them intriguing.

There is no remedy for death–or birth–except to hug the spaces in between. As are their lives and their histories. Granted, none of us want to meet our end in the manner that the couple cace this book did attacked, robbed, and left for dead during a romantic pic I absolutely LOVED this book.
